About Us
Dr. Wong and his staff have created a unique practice, combining the newest evaluation and treatment methods for their diverse patients with services to meet their many needs. Information and treatment plans are available in multiple languages-English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Burmese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese. We feel that communication is the key to better treatment and will do our utmost to try and teach our patients the best, safest and most cost effective ways to treat their allergy problems. Our motto is to treat the patient the same way we would hope that our family be treated.
Our Physicians
Dr. Stephen C. Wong is a board certified allergy-immunologist who has been in practice since 1987. He received his undergraduate degree at University of California, Berkeley with Phi Beta Kappa Honors and received his Medical Doctor Degree at University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Wong’s postgraduate training was completed at Stanford University Affiliated hospitals and UCLA Affiliated hospitals. His allergy training was completed at UCLA, West Los Angeles Veterans Hospital, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and Harbor General Hospital. Dr. Wong is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Adult and Child Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Wong has participated in training medical students, residents and fellows in allergy at UCLA School of Medicine and USC School of Medicine. He has also taken part in clinical research trials for new allergy, asthma and immune deficiency medications.
Dr. Wong is a former President of the Los Angeles County Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Society and has been a member of the Executive Board of the California State Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Society. He has served as a consultant for the Alhambra School District regarding protocols for asthma treatment and food related anaphylaxis. Dr. Wong has been a guest speaker for the Los Angeles County Office of Education regarding asthma treatment and food related anaphylaxis in schools.
For his continuing service to physicians and patients in Southern California, he has been selected by other physicians as a "Best Physician for Allergy and Immunology" by Pasadena Magazine and a "Super Doctor for Allergy and Immunology" by Los Angeles Magazine and the Los Angeles Times.
All of our physicians in our office are board certified in Adult and Child Allergy and Immunology. In addition to treating patients, these physicians are clinical faculty at medical schools involved in teaching other physicians and clinical research projects.
